Report from Montreal Jazz Fest

On July 4th, Bomb Squad played to an audience of over 20,000 people, headlining the main stage of Montreal Jazz Festival. The band performed 2 one hour long sets and closed the night in typical squad fashion with a blistering raucous ride through their anthemesque "Rip it Up".

After the second set the band received a warm welcome from the Canadian audience who was pleading for the band, with a Soccer stadium type chant, to return to the stage for an encore. "Olay, Olay, Olay, Olay, Olay!!" Unfortunately, a Montreal City ordinance requires that music be stopped at Midnight, so sadly, the band were not allowed to return to the stage

Bomb Squad wishes to express thanks to our new friends and fans in Montreal. You were all amazing, and we will do everything in our power to make sure that Bomb Squad returns north of the border again next summer! Be sure to check back soon for pictures and video taken from Squad's performance at Montreal Jazz Festival.

The band returns stateside this week headlining the Rockin Beatz Festival in Cold Brook, New York. Visit www.rockinbeatz.com for more info
